At Crust, we are committed to using the highest quality
ingredients in all of our recipes.

Our commitment to quality extends through our menu like in-house made sauces, dressings and desserts (we even make our cannoli shells). Fresh egg pasta and ravioli are made with semolina flour daily in our pasta room. All of our pizza dough, Crustwich dough and Garlic knots are made in house and daily as well.

We source beef and pork that are hormone and antibiotic free. In addition, no animal by-products are used in cattle feed – they are “grain-finished” with a 100% vegetarian diet consisting mainly of barley, corn and alfalfa hay. We also butcher and grind all of our beef and pork in house to ensure the best quality meatballs, ground beef and Bolognese sauce. We believe, as a restaurant, we have a responsibility to provide your family and ours with the highest-quality food sourced from the most responsible vendors. A Q&A with Crust Executive Chef and founder Darren Henderson

Why did you decide to open Crust?

“After working for other people and companies in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and learning with some very talented chefs and leaders, I wanted to create a restaurant that gave customers, employees, vendors and community an experience that would be from the heart and that would put them first. For customers I wanted to give them a place to enjoy quality food and beverages sourced responsibly and served in an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. The dishes created for Crust were designed to be made in-house and full of flavor, they are also priced fair so our customers can experience freshly made food at a price that is reasonable”.

You mentioned employees…

“Yes I wanted to create the same warm and inviting environment for my employees that the customers should feel. Our employees are compensated fairly and given the opportunity to grow personally, professionally and financially while understanding and learning that hard work, self accountability and a commitment to professionalism is the key to that growth. I always tell our people I want to surround myself with Fun, Positive, and Energetic people that make bad situations better not worse.”

Why are your vendors important?

“Our vendors are responsible for bringing us the quality products that we use to make our food and beverages. I make a commitment to use vendors based on a relationship built with trust and honesty not on pricing. It is imperative that I start with a great product so I can create great dishes.”

How does Crust work in the community?

“First of all let me start out by saying what an honor and privilege it is to own and operate a small business in our community. Without supporting and receiving the support of our community Crust would not exist. With this support we are able to employee first time workers, college students and career hospitality workers, giving each of them the opportunity to work a schedule that fits their needs. We have made relationships and partnered with organizations and charities in our community to help them be successful in reaching their goals. We have an incredible industry and want to create incredible opportunities for people in our community.”

With fresh and local food and extraordinary service, Crust looks forward to providing you with an exceptional catering experience. Please provide the catering server with 72hr notice for all deliveries, and 24hr notice for all pick-up orders. Delivery and set-up is available on orders of $250 or more, for a $50 fee. Plates, napkins, utensils, and serving utensils available upon request. Gluten free options are available!
